HK rifles and some of their pistols ARE AMAZING.

But for me, it's hard to beat a new $400 glock and a new $1,100 6920 when on a budget.

    This.
I agree that it's a pretty neat looking rifle, but I could never justify the cost. I do like the sights the put on it, though. I wonder if they'll offer those seperately.

i have a set of these....

    C4 "Diopter" Sights

and they are the proper height for the standard AR flat top upper/same plain rail set up

    they are great
feel free to PM me if you have any questions about them or would like to see them in person
id be glad to let folks check them out if they are considering buying a set

and yes, they do co-witness great with red dots

(keep in mind they are different than the ones on the MR556 and you shoud not buy the HK brand sights with the standard flat top set up)

HOLY CRAP, thats a bad a** looking AR...

It's not an AR, but you just made H&K's marketing division very happy.:D

People buy guns on looks, and if the guns are in movies.

Now H&K just has to get the 416/417 in a movie, preferrably a movie involving bank robbery. Call the second unit director!

You are kidding me! H&K already greased a second unit director!

    H&K has stolen a march on me!:D

From a marketing perspective it is a great move. Now H&K just has to get it in the Call of Duty mix and they are set as 90% of INGO will get one.:D
