Anyone still buying gold

Has anyone been buying any gold eagles lately? How much over spot are they going for? Saw 10 1/10 oz eagles a guy wants 1900. for .Is that about right or too high?

One oz is around $1750.00 I would pass without knowing anything else about the coins.
