Hey guys like ive mentioned before im new to reloading. Im wondering if anyone has used Winchester aa lite or imr4350 for a 9mm load. The aa lite is a shotgun powder but ive seen posts on the internet of people using it in a .45acp load so why not 9mm? Ive seen posts also about using imr for 9mm. The guy at the shop told me to check the charts. This may make me look "dumb" but what charts?

Uh, IMR 4350 is a rifle powder, a somewhat slow-burning one at that. Big mistake trying that in a 9mm Luger or .45 ACP (unless you want "squib" loads and the possibility of a bullet stuck in the barrel, or worse). On the other hand, the Winchester AA Lite powder is a relatively fast-burning powder and could work effectively in some loads in both pistol calibers. However, you may have difficulty finding a safe, published load. Please, get a powder that has loads listed in a published reloading manual.
