If I remember correctly the main reason she got in in the first place was that most republican voters in her district sat out the election.

What happened was, the longtime incumbent (since 1999) Joseph Crowley, figured he could just "phone it in", didn't campaign, and he got primaried by AOC.
The turnout to elect AOC in the general election was small.

But since a Republican has next to ZERO chance of being elected in that district, it didn't take many votes for AOC to win.

Im no expert, but they were pretty big in that stupid dance video. You couldnt tell shape per se under the sweatshirt, but it was obvious there was a lot of something under the hoodie.
