Harbor Freight is now selling Pelican-LIKE hard protective cases. They are calling them APACHE CASES, and they are about 30% the price of real Pelican cases.

I picked one up tonight on my way home. I bought a large one, and after a nice customer in the store handed me a 20% off coupon it was only $32. So far it seems well made and it should protect it's contents well.
