I just attended my first appleseed with my father and son and had a GREAT weekend. Before I mention where we attended it was only due to convenience of a central location.
We went to Clinton IL. Into commie territory. The weekend was great,instructors and range location top notch. To top things off my son shot Rifleman with a 211. BIG smile on his face !!
Anyway we are hooked. Definately going to future events here closer in IN. My son used a Marlin 795 and I want to build a pair of them for LTR. I have location on most everything like tech sites and the slings needed.
The thing I am in need of is a longer stock. Are there aftermarket stocks or slip on recoil buffers or adjustable stocks out there I am not finding? We are both over 6' and the short stock on these rifles is a small complaint but would like to find a solution
