Project Appleseed has one more shoot left this month and several taking place next month in Indiana.

-We will be at ProTEQ Firearms Academy in Brazil on the 27th and 28th. If you haven't been to ProTEQ for an Appleseed shoot you should check out the way Don Brannan and the Johnson Volunteer Fire Department make us feel welcome.

-October 4th and 5th will see us in Seelyville at the Lost Creek Conservation Club. Another great location convenient to the Terre Haute area and even eastern Illinois.

-Noblesville is next on the 11th and 12th at Hamilton County Fish & Game. This is one of the most convenient locations for folks on the north side of Indy and the towns north of Indy.

-Camp Atterbury on October 18th and 19th! How often do you get to shoot out to 500 yards? We only get to shoot at Atterbury a couple of times a year so take advantage of this opportunity to see what your effective range is and learn how to dope wind and extend your range all while a dedicated pit crew services your target.

-October 25th and 26th has a ladies-only event in Freetown at South Central Gun Club. This event will be staffed entirely by female Instructors.

-Cloverdale will also have an event on the 25th and 26th at the Cloverdale Conservation Club. A great location accessible to Indy and the western part of the state.

You can get more information by visiting the Project Appleseed site: Project Appleseed Home

And visit the sub-forum here on INGO: Appleseed

I hope to see you on the line this fall.

Fall shoots are the best! Beautiful weather, great instructions by some of the most dedicated volunteers. Just because we're volunteers doesn't mean we are not qualified instructors.

Appleseed is not just for the beginning shooter. Appleseed is also for the more advanced shooter. After a weekend learning the Appleseed techniques, I guarantee you will come away a better marksman.

Updating the OP, the Brazil shoot at ProTEQ was a success. Another one at ProTEQ will happen the first weekend of November. The Seelyville shoot for this coming weekend has been cancelled, regrettably. There will be more shoots at Seelyville in the future.

There is still time to get in on the Noblesville shoot and you can still sign up for a weekend of shooting full distance at Camp Atterbury. Sign-ups for Camp Atterbury close a full week before the shoot so get signed up and all personal and rifle info submitted before 11:59 pm on Friday the 10th.

And don't forget the LadySeed at Freetown and a "regular" Appleseed at Cloverdale on the 25th and 26th.

    See you on line,

    brian

Sign-ups for Atterbury are closed. We've had some interest by some folks who either couldn't attend this time or didn't know until it was too late to get involved. Keep checking the Appleseed sub-forum or the Appleseed schedule for events next year.

There is still time to get in on the Freetown LadySeed and the Appleseed shoot in Cloverdale. Both are on the 25th and 26th of this month.

And if you're reading this thread you've probably seen the one on the shoots we've got for November and December. Sign up and show up!

The Atterbury shoot was great. Saturday was breezy, rainy, cold and AWESOME! Sunday was beautiful and just as awesome complete with parachute drops and C-130 take-offs and landings. Our youngest shooter on the line was there with his father and the two of them put together a video using stills and footage shot on site. It's worth the trip over to the Appleseed sub-forum just to check it out. This young man, by the way, was one of two who shot a Rifleman score at Camp Atterbury this weekend. Congrats!

    C ya,
