I am afraid that it will be disappointing to me. They cannot do justice in a film produced in Hollywood to Atlas Shrugged. Unless you believe in it, you cannot film it.

Looks shallow and lacks the depth of what Any Rand wrote.

As much as I liked the book in my youthful days, I don't expect to like the film. Maybe I will watch it on Netflix when it gets there.

The release date may pique some interest but not as much as I'd like. Too bad they aren't releasing it the following Tuesday.

I am afraid you are right. And even someone who believed it would have a hard time doing it justice I think.

I've gone at it from the reverse. Read the posts and wiki's, seen the YouTube vids, heard the radio interviews, now I'm listening to the audio book.

Early opinion leads me to think a large box office for this movie would make quite a statement. IE, the way Passion Of The Christ opened eyes.
    Just sayin'.:dunno:

Having not read the book and only heard bits and pieces about it over time and based on the second clip above, I couldn't blame Henry for breaking out something compact and full auto and ridding himself of the room full of leaches that he just walked away from!

I rather see the movie first, then read the book to see how much the movie left out & also if I read the book first, i'll know everything that will happen in the movie
