AR-15 and M-16 Show And Tell

Well, it's been a long time of piecing together parts that have either broken or I just ended up not liking, but here she is:

Started life as a used Rock River Lower with a model 1 sales upper I bought in 2008. Now, the only part that remains is the lower receiver and parts kit.

Upper was swapped for a BCM upper with a Stag 16" barrel (Will be sbr shortly)
Rock River BCG
Aimpoint ML2 w/ BoBro QD Mount
F-Stamped solid front post and a chopped carry handle
Surefire M500A
AAC Blackout Flash Hider
Magpul ASAP Sling mount w/ Urban ERT E-Rush sling
Magpul CRT stock

The whole gun has been Molle Coated Desert Tan, which has really stood the test of time. I have gone through countless combinations with VG to AFGs to quad rails to standard ar grips and this is what I have found to be the best for me and my usage.

Nice job on the paint. I've always been curious about doing that. Have you ever had to take the paint off after you've done it because you didn't like how it turned out?

Nope, this is my first gun paint job. Camoflage is kinda hard to mess up in my opinion.

I have used both Aervoe (epoxy-based spray paint) and Brownells' Alumahyde II with good results.
