Thanks! I had considered the M16 selector mod that gives it SAFE-SEMI-SEMI, but decided it wasn't worth the potential hassle. Engravings are one thing, but if the selector actually moved to the AUTO position, it'd be hard to explain.

Started out as an M&P 15 OR magpul model. Not finished, but ready for action.

meh not really the third pin would be the kicker not really that uncommon maybe more so in the ar department but i remember a fal i had years back that had a safe semi semi mode on the selector

Troy AR. Stock, grip, winter trigger gaurd, Medieval Brake, rear BUIS, and Alpha Rail w/ sight all came on the gun. Added a Troy ambi bolt release, ambi safety, QD single point rear plate, and cooling hole QD socket on the rail. Also put a Timney trigger, BCM Model 3 Gun Fighter, Surefire M600 Scout / Haley Thorntail mount, and Nightforce NXS 1X4X24 w/ FC2 reticle mounted in a Larue SPR mount. Case is a Pelican 1700.

My DoubleStar: Star 15 CAR. With quad rail, covers, cheap (NcStar red dot until my Eotech gets in), mbus rear, and mgv grip. Next to my beretta m9
Soon to add within a month... Low profile gas block w/ top rail, and hogue grip. Keeping it simple. I'm a fan of the standard 6pt collapsible stocks, so i'm def keeping that.

Finally done. Started Black Friday with the PSA purchases and everything else was purchased post panic for non-panic pricing. Just had to wait a while and troll websites. The lower was a bit more, it has some anti-rotational pins and had to do transfer and shipping - was still cheaper than the $3-500 stripped forged ones that are readily available. BCG was only $99 shipped free.

Many things were on BO and they honored pricing, but now the prices are increased. They will go down.

    PSA SS mid-length upper
    PSA charging handle
BCG from Red-X (hopefully it doesn't explode)
    Tactical Innovations lower
PSA LPK with ALG - ACT trigger
Magpul OD Green forearm, butt and rear BUIS
    Ergo Ambi OD grip

Got the RRA complete lower last week at Bradis. Was sitting on the wall and I think it was only $289. A little high, but still under list on RRA's site. The Tactical Innovations upper matches better color wise, but is a little loose. It does have an adjustment screw to tighten like the Sig 400 and some other lowers have, but I haven't adjusted it yet. The RRA fits much tighter and had to beat it a little to get in the first time. To split the upper/lower, I have to take both pins out - it won't pivot freely. So maybe it just needs to be worked a bit. Probably just keep that for my Blackout build.

Not the best quality, quick cell phone pics.
