Had some fat-fingering with a punch on the bolt release pin, so I scratched the receiver a little bit. Still need to grab a new front/rear BUS and some hand guards/stop for the rail, but otherwise I'm happy with the build so far. First pistol build, first 300 blackout. Excited to take it to the range.

Do you like that Hera stock? Any plans on trying the curvy front end attachment?

I really like the stock. I don't care for the curved front grip. It seems like it would be comfortable, but too bulky for my tastes.

Here are the basics of my Warthog AT (556). Once I manage to get to AllenM and have it painted then I will assemble it. Some of it though will have to be hand painted, like the lower face, the teeth on the handguard as well as the word "warthog" and maybe I will paint small flames on the barrel flutes since that is what they are supposed to represent.

Had problems posting this pic to the thread I had started wherein I asked for ideas and help to make this thing so I thought I would post this again and hope everyone who wants to see it, can.

I bought it for an upcoming hog hunt. Playing with it for now to figure it out, and decide what to mount it on. Hopefully it will have some hogs, coyotes, and a bobcat in its future.

Here is my latest AR. Nothing that is top of the line. PSA freedom upper, Anderson lower, type E A1 surplus stock, A2 style PG that I've had for years, commercial M4 midlength handguards I got in a trade, surplus M4 carry handle. Shot it this past weekend and it works very well with M193 and M855. Had some Tula and Monach steel case that was a bit underpowered that fired and ejected fine but it do not load the following round. That might be the rifle buffer causing that. I have the parts for my next lower on the way and when I get it set up for a collapsible stock I will see if the steel case performs any better. It does shoot good an accurate. I'll glass it at some point.
