I am building a ar15 from scratch! I want a stainless steel heavy/bull barrel with fluting. i have found a place just can not find any information about them i want something like the SPT053

are you wanting to build it or buy a complete upper? if you buy the main components complete all you will do is push in 2 pins.

I bought a complete upper (A1 retro pencil barrel) 16" 5.56 barrel from these people, and have had VERY good luck with it.

I dont know yet what the BEST bang for the dollar.... may buy a complete or may build it like my lower.
Im use the spike's tactical PUNISHER Lower(w/ my custom coated snake skin coloring(gold&black chrome) with spikes lpk, and adjustable milspec stock

watch ar15.com in the used parts section for parts to buy for your build. That is one way to save real money on builds.

Personally I think building from scratch is cheaper. But that is only if you are diligent in searching for the best price for each part. Plus it depends on what you are wanting. Model 1 Sales sells stainless bull barrels with fluting, but I don't think they have the spiral fluting. Model 1 Sales: 5.56/.223 Bull Barrel

AR15.com equipment exchange can be very useful in finding used parts for cheap.
