    Well from what info I could gather on the carbon uppers , there is very little info on them.
    For the most part it was 50/50 .
    Did find some pics of a 9 mm upper that broke in front of the ejection port .
    Other than that no real proof of anything good or bad !

    AT $200 for a upper reciever, didnt want to find out the bad ,by way of lost cash or eye balls , finger's ,ect .

    So I come up with this great weight saving ideal SBR !
    Well not only will my AR weigh less so will my wallet :)

    I wanted to build something as light as possible and the carbon upper weigh's something like 40%less than a aluminum upper.It was just one place to cut weight . AND it was only thought and fact gathering !



    SBR/ Yes , I want to build another rifle again .Got the itch .
    I'll strip the rail ,light and red dot off my carbine and give it to my son .
    Than build myself an SBR
