AR Guys HELP!!!

What is this? It's obvoiusly a quadrail, but it's kinda stubby, 6 3/4", top rail is 7" and I'm not familiar with the shark fin logo. I'm not an AR guy, and my Google-fu is failing me on this one. It is aluminum BTW. Thanks.

Mako was the first thing that came to mind. I checked out their website and cant find anything with that logo or even resembles it.

My neighbor was moving and cleaned out his safe, he brought me a box of misc stuff, Rem oil, sks stripper clips, shoot n c targets, cleaning supplies, blah blah blah, and this was in the bottom of the box, now he's gone, I dont know where he moved and I dont have a # for him. Im sure he didn't have it engraved. It came this way. Im just baffled over it.
