AR love?

Im an AK guy, pretty much always have been, but I always try to keep at least one AR around. They are a fun rifle for sure, and have some practical use.

Plus, I loved playing with legos as a kid, and ARs are kind of like adult legos

I moved to AR from AK. I like to have firearms that my wife can pick up and shoot. She couldn't do that with the AKs. So I switched and glad I did. I do love me some AR! Accurate, light weight and much like a compound bow can be configured to fit you instead of you conforming to fit it.

Side note, I saw the thread title AR Love and instantly sang Radar Love but replaced radar with AR. Anyone else do that crap? I don't even know that song, who sings it, or any other words to it. Lol.

AR rifles are to Men as Cats are to Women.

In our house, I tell my wife and daughters that they can have another cat, if I can build another AR. Keeps the cat population in check.

Honestly, I prefer my AK. However, I do like the AR platform. I inherited one from my Father. Had some issues, but got it running right. There is a huge aftermarket for them, so the Mall Ninjas can add crap to their hearts delight. There are also multiple calibers to choose from. For the most part it's just swaping the upper and possibly mags.
