Does anyone know for sure if you can attach a bipod to the rail on an AR pistol? I am wanting to build one that could be used for hunting here in Indiana. 6.8 caliber should make it legal for just not sure about how to stabilize it for longer shots.

also is there any length restrictions on a barrel being to long for a pistol to hunt with?

    - Thanks

Bipods are okay on pistols, only issue you'd have is if you got one of the VFGs with the shoot out bipod. If you have a Harris or something similiar you'd be okay

As for barrel lengths, AFAIK, no. There's still plenty of people who hunt deer here with 15" Contenders
