AR Upper questions, specifically DSArms

Just bought my lower and within the next week or so will be buying my LPK. I'm looking and researching uppers that I want and am not dead set on one yet. I'm probably going to get a PSA upper to keep everything PSA and Magpul. While researching, I came across a company called DS Arms. I have not hears of them, but they have dirt cheap uppers. For example, they have a 14.5" M4 profile complete upper (sans BCG) for $150. Anyone out there able to vouch for them? If I can get enough people who have good things to say, I might just buy one to test it. Please don't bash it due to the price, I want real world experiences here.

dont take this as bashing the price, but can you provide a link? a complete upper with bcg is pretty dificult to believe for 150 bucks

Yup, without or removed.


I've seen DS Arms for $250, but never $150 myself. Maybe its used

DSA is big in the world of FALS but within the last few years have gotten into AR15. There are some reviews of them on Youtube.The front sight post are not F marked

Went to there websight, but they do have some good prices. 16 inch w/o bcg $240 and the 14.5 inch w/o bcg for $300

Yeah, that's my bad. I got the wrong price, but they're still $250ish regular price.

Not at all; we routinely sell DSA, Spikes and Aero Precision complete (port door & FA installed) uppers for about that.

But then, the usual definition of "complete" upper doesn't include a barrel assembly.

I got a stripped DSA upper for my build that I finished earlier this year. No complaints. I don't think I have 1,000 rounds through it yet, but seems solid. (That is just the stripped, no idea what their parts are like.)

I don't know yet, I just ordered it today, so I guess I'll find out.

Well that sucks man, you would figure they would ramp up production since they started running these for these prices.

After getting the email, I saw PSA was offering a Labor Day deal so I bought an upper from them, and cancelled the DSA upper.
