Your post almost makes me want to skip the Gen4 G43 I've been looking at..
OR make that a reason to get the Gen4 even cheaper!! THANKS!! HaHa!!

If I already had a Gen 4, I wouldn't rush out to replace it. If I was starting from scratch, I would definitely get the Gen 5. Note that so far only a MOS version of the 34 has been announced for Gen 5.

I don't recall the particulars, but I think I've posted it before if you want to dig for it. If a general overview is enough, they are more accurate to the point the worst Gen 5s did better than the best Gen 4s in the FBI testing. The best Gen 5 shot .76" at 25y. I *think* they are 5 shot groups, but again, don't recall for sure. Almost all of them shot 1.5" or better using off the shelf 147gr 9mm. HST, maybe?
Thanks. Sounds like either a machine rest group or bench rest with sandbags. That's probably typical accuracy from any of the newer, name brand pistols on the market. Lots of good choices out there now.

It's from a rest, and I'd not say it's typical. Close enough few will ever notice. There were entries with consistency issues, particularly in poi vs poa from sample to sample.
