We all know how important it is to defend our rights, both at the national and state levels. I applaud anyone who does this by writing, calling, emailing, sending smoke signals, whatever to their elected officials. But we all know that we have to do more. Having large national organizations help to some degree, but most of them *cough*NRA*cough* tend to fall short on what most of us feel should be done to not only protect our remaining rights, but to regain the rest of our infringed upon rights!
This is where Armed Citizens United comes into play. They are a new group, organized by some very familiar names in our community at large, and some of the board members are members of this forum! They are dedicated to getting our rights back, all of our rights. Since they are very new, the biggest thing that they need is members, that's where we come in. INGO now has over 33,000 members; that is a large number, now if you think about it, there are 50 states, if INGO, and each other State joined only 25% of their members to the ACU, that would mean well over 400,000 members; now that is the beginnings of a group with some clout! If you are interested in not only preserving your rights, but also in getting the rest of them back, I urge you to join the ACU. At $25 membership is not outrageously expensive, and most of us probably have 2 - 3 times that amount just in tacticool gear we never use, or holsters that didn't quite work for us sitting in a drawer somewhere!
