Riding high on the AR ride today, who all out there can't wait to get their black rifle(s) out of the safe this week? I know I can't wait!!!!

I'm right there with you... I was able to bust a few out of the safe last weekend. The smell of freshly burned powder and how iron was awesome. Slap some steel my friend!

Welcome there are several of us around Madison. Besides farm land there is Crosley state range in North Vernon and the Switzerland County Sportsmans club out near Bennington. Sportsmans club is the best but you have to become a member.

I have a SR556 myself and since it apparently isn't an AR, I don't call it one when I say I am taking it out to shoot.

I do prefer AK's though but when I take out an "AR" it's a piston one.
