As a fan of Beretta firearms, and knowing how the company works, I will believe it when I see one in my Beretta loving hands.

    MSPR of only $1950.00?!?!

Oh man if only they had a 7.62x39 or 9mm conversion kit I would buy 6 of them.

Seriously though it is a sweet rifle but I think I will stick to my AK.

Street price should be closer to $1600, still expensive for a .223 but it is supposed to be "the next generation" that everyone keeps talking about. We will see, assuming they actually start showing up at the local stores.

$1600+ for a rifle that has a plastic receiver, "quick change barrel" system and has issues with 3rd gen Pmags...

Also, they are touting it as "lubrication free"... My dad used to tell me about Vietnam, how "you didn't need to clean the M16s" and how many people got killed by that idiocy...

Looks cool and has some nifty features if you are left handed. Outside of that, too expensive for what it is and Beretta is HORRIFICALLY late to the game if they want to make a quick buck on these. Like the Tavor, some folks will buy 'em based on price and SOME features, but they aren't going to garner market share.
