I wouldn't eat one of those.
They have been in the Southern Wabash for years.

I was on the Wabash half way between Attica and Lafayette three weeks ago and they're up there too. Had three jump while we were motoring back upstream. they remind me of a big silver shad.

Go up to the Oakdale dam on the Tippecanoe River. That place is getting to be full of them. They are out-competing and crowding out the other fish in that area. I have seen many being kept by the Asians and Hispanics that fish there in numbers. Most people just toss them on the bank to die or kill them and put them back in the water. It will probably not be too many years until I start catching them in the Pere Marquette River in Michigan instead of the salmon that I catch there now. They are really an ugly fish to look at face to face and they do put up quite a fight on the end of a fishing line.

Why are they only worrying about keeping them out of the Great Lakes and throwing the rest of us to the wolves? They should have been working at killing them out before they got this far.
