Asian lady bug problem

So any solution for this nasty creature?
I'm about sick of them flying into my face while I read at night.

I understand I have the government to thank for this.

I leave a light on in the evening and sweep them off the wall. I may or may not be exaggerating.

Funny how last year I observed that we had so few...

Only solution I've found so far is to let them bunch up on a white wall and break out the ol' 12 gauge. It works but it'll leave an entirely new problem but the folks at Lowes know me by name now.



ETA: If I didn't hate spoofs so much I'd be making "asian lady boy problems" right now.

Well, sometimes... If they start out with, "Hey GI! Me love you long time! 5 dolla!", it's probably best to avoid them...

If you are seeing them in the house now it is probably because they came inside last fall and overwintered in your home. Now they are trying to leave. It might sound stupid but try opening the windows on a nice day and let them all out. Do it before the skeeters get busy. Before next winter use caulk on every crack and crevice outside your home.

That might represent a problem, but "bugs" would likely be extraneous. You get what you pay for.

While stationed in Viet Nam, a friend of mine had an "Asian Lady Bug" problem, but several doses of penicillin eventually took care of it.
