What if any laws are there about owning asp and side handle batons? I have recently moved here.

I'm not aware of any laws against it. I carry a collapsable baton in the map well of my driver's side door.

Now, Chinese throwing stars are another thing entirely (for now).

I am very trained, just wasent sure of the laws in my new state :)

No harm was intended, I use to carry one but it too a lot of practice to do all of the little things it was capable of. I carry an "Asp" in my car and have a collector "slapper". I don't use it any more. I was hit with one on the arm and it made me a believer.

I have about three lights in my car. I have a small rechargable "surefire" and then my mag light. I also have an extra just in case.

Wife gets annoyed at me: "How many flashlights do you need?"

Well I have my main torch (sorry, flashlight), the backup, the backup to my backup... etc. etc.

    I'm a flashlight freak.

ps: Carry an ASP too but hate the fact I have to find some concrete to collapse it. Monodnock all the way next time.

Mine ask me the same thing until the lights go out.

I thought any hard surface will do it, not just concrete

I hope they're not illegal. I have a house full of tonfa I'd have to get rid of and my sensei's gonna be annoyed if I can't do my kata!
