    Just ban speed loaders, require a trigger pull of at least 50 pounds, and nobody can carry more than 7 live rounds of ammunition on their person at any given moment.

    Buying ammunition requires a background check, and if it is over 7 rounds, it has to be in a secure wrapper, kept at a distance of no less than 12 feet from any appendage on your body. If you have 7 rounds in a box, you can't have any rounds in your gun.

    Crime problem solved. Now lets focus on the children.

    If there are any protests to my proposed legislation, I will make a law that says you cannot have a live round within 40,075 km of any firearm. Yes, so that means not on earth.
