    Two part question...

    1) I have a savage with the accustock so which atlas bipod works with a sling stud or what do I need to use it on a sling stud

    2) is there any shop around Indy that sells atlas bipods

All that I've seen attach via an accessory rail (unlike the Harris which uses a sling stud). As far as finding one in Indy, good luck. Your best bet would probably be Elmore's or maybe another shop that carries premium gear.

I'd attach a small rail section and use a rail type mount. I like QD but not so sure I'd trust them on the bipod mount due to possibly hitting and releasing the bipod.

The qd mount included with the atlas has a locking mechanism which requires a push and pull so accidentally releasing it is very unlikely. Great bipods and worth every penny for a heavy gun.
