This may be a difficult fight!

Just in case you all want to know how Congress thinks they have the right to do this health care bill. They twist the Interstate Commerse clause into a pretzel! Then the also use the "to promote the general welfare" clause in the constitution. This is why it's going to be a tough fight in the courts the have some basis for doing this. Personally i think this is no grounds for them to pass this bill. But that's how they do it, and they'll stretch it till it breaks in court.

SCOTUS isn't conservative. They're 4-4 and one wishy washy vote. This bill will likely be held up by them in part or in whole. Don't look for it to be overturned.

*yawn* If I escort you out of a building, does it mean I fired a volley over your head to do so? Nope. But the last thing you want, if the federal dogs do start yapping is to have enemy combatants at your back. They would need to go. And so would the tories who support them.
*yawn* Then I guess if you just want escorts you could have little ladies volunteer instead of armed soldiers. Of course, why would you use federal troops? The NG is a federally financed federal reserve force that would be called into federal service at the first hint of this. I suppose the NG would have to escort themselves as the "federal dogs" they are. Why should any of this fantasy make sense, right?

This is why many people think gun owners are either cretins, cranks, criminals, or crazy. However, something else may be at the root of these urgings.
