SCGC steel match this Saturday. I should have most it setup by 9am but come earlier if you would like to help. Registration starts at 9m and we go hot at 10am. 4 stages of pistol and rifle. 1 full stage of shotgun. We will shoot two guns the first time through so shooters that have only 1 or 2 guns can be finished early. Shotgun and other guns will be after the first time through. If needed we will make separate squads. New shooters welcome! My two kids, 8 and 10 years, will be there tearing it up with a rim fire river 10/22.

ALSO - Each pistol/rifle stage will be shot 5 times per gun. 100 rounds minimum for pistol/rifle but 150 recommended. The shotgun stage will have several targets making it by far the longest stage. Minimum 50 rounds for shotgun but 100 recommended.

Sorry I don't have steel stages posted on our club site. That will change when I find a program I like.

Also forgot to mention the possibility of a single stage setup for AR 15 next month. Thinking of using paper for close up and steel at distance. If anyone is interested let me know. Thanks to all those that come and make this match enjoyable. See you soon!

I cannot hold it in any longer. A club member made some devices that will throw clay targets up! So this adds a whole new aspect to the shotgun stage! Freckin love it!

Wva3470 - I'll run your semi with my ammo if that's OK? I'll still run my pump but would love to try your semi!

All pistol/rifle stages are close and fast. Shotgun still the works due to some recently made targets. Its on paper but will be adjusted slightly tomorrow morning.

Good match today Brent! Yea, it rained, but any day shooting is better than a sharp stick in the eye! Can't wait to see some of the videos.

Holy crap was the shotgun stage fun! I'll try to get some videos up when I have a good internet connection, but they're not cool drone videos. Pistol was awesome too, even if I didn't have the "fancy" footwork to get between positions. Anybody take video from that stage? It would make some good blackmail

Anybody that is on the fence about coming out this event DO IT. It keeps getting better and better each month. Can't wait to see whats in store next

Just wanted to thank all those that attended and made a rainy day a success. The shotgun stage was a big hit and of course more of that will be in the September match.

I'm impressed every month with the attendees of this match. Always a great group of people and fun times are always had. I can't wait until next month! I guess I'll have to come up with a new target for next month.

Just like to say thank you for a fun morning and allowing myself and VERT Jr. to slow the squad down. Kudos to the guys at South Central keeping these events family oriented. I encourage those on INGO to make the drive down to Freetown on the second Saturday of the month. These steel shoots are a great way to get introduced to organized shooting and the club.
