12 year old, under supervision of "instructor", kills family friend as he attends to target.

This is why we have the Four Rules. The Four Rules are life. The Four Rules always apply, not just when you feel like it. The Four Rules always apply no matter how badly you wish to create a marketing niche by "changing" them.

It is dangerous to step in front of guns. No matter how much he needs a market niche, do not let Captain Tacticalpants or any other instructor tell you otherwise as this can happen even if the shooter does not "want" it to happen. Why he had been around guns . . . wait for it . . . "all meye lie-if".

WARNING: EXTREMELY GRAPHIC. DO NOT WATCH WITH CHILDREN.

So, was it careless for the "instructor" to allow the shooter to coonfinger the rifle with people down range?
It was careless for the shooter to allow the muzzle to cover something he (presumably) wasn't willing to destroy. It was also careless for the instructor to leave someone so irresponsible without supervision.

Your insinuation that the addition of a downrange camera to this scenario would equate it to the downrange photography during a TR Fighting Pistol class is just pure KF drivel.

Who else can you blame? I'm sure the 12 yr old was a novice, so was his friend. Got to come down on the only professional in the room!

So, it is careless an instructor to let a student coonfinger a gun while others are down range.

Now, is it careless for an instructor to allow people down range while a student is coonfingering a gun and pointing the weapon down range at them?

Without supervision? What are you talking about? She was standing right on top of him as he strikes a pose for the camera.

Maybe she thought the camera would deflect the bullets from the meat down range?

    is just pure KF drivel

Drivel? I can put a foot on a dead body, moi druk. It's not drivel.

That "instructor" could have used some Appleseed training:

"Mags out, bolts back, safeties on, flags in,, rifles grounded, no touching."

This stuff isn't for the fun of it. This stuff saves lives.

The kid took out his bad step dad. Russians are crazy I seen it on Youtube. ;)

Dude was probably beating the crap out of the kid, boy found a way out. Russian police say it was an accident. Good for the boy.

The article said the police want to make the instructor responsible. We will see how the russian .gov will respond.
