Well, I hunted far and wide but only found it in one shop, the Outdoorsman in Greenwood. That place has changed, last time I was there it was in the country. Of course, that was when i would go to Atterbury before they redid it.

I find the smell of Ballistol to be very annoying...I've had some for years (from Brownells) but have a hard time getting myself to use it because of the smell! I have never seen it locally!

So buying Ballistol is anti American?

It seems to work ok, I could be wrong but I think it is made overseas somewhere (perhaps originated before WWI to use for our enemies arms maintenance) and I prefer to to keep my money here and support the good old USA. The product may still be made in Germany, I am not sure but we got plenty of equal or better products made right here in the homeland that I feel better about buying. That's just me though.

Not a source on the east side, but I've bought it at Applied Ballistics in Lafayette.

IMO, most of the products smell, and it's probably a good idea to limit your exposure, so Ballistol is no better or worse in that regard.
