I have used it for years on leather slings. Works well for removing mildew. Good on wood too.

Well, I tried it on a few firearms today....I have to say, the stuff seems to work well!

Those that said it smells like cat **** are right on the money though. Still better than Hoppes solvent though....and it seems to clean better!

y'all's cats smell different than mine but whatever you think it smells like, whoo-ey yea open it away from your face and apply sparingly. It'll singe your nose hairs.

Otherwise no complaints or problems with it here in the last 2 years.

This is all my brother uses and he swears by it. Though every blue moon his 22s need a more thorough clean with more dedicated solvents.

EDIT: Got it in the mail today.
It was non-aerosol, but didn't come with a pump, so I can't spray it in the nooks & crannies.
I assumed it would have a manual pump.

Picked up some before I knew what it was historically, just on the shelf somewhere.
Saw that Hickok45 recommended it & a friend here on INGO uses it exclusively.
I went to Walmart & Lowes trying to get some & finally ordered some online through Walmart (I think).
I just realized I hadn't gotten it & its been 2-3 weeks.

I gave it a shot on a black powder revolver this evening... Seems to work pretty well!

Pro Tip:

Though it cleans well, it does not taste too great. Some got transferred from my hands to a whiskey glass and then to my lips. Not tasty....but my lips probably won't be chapped!
