Barrel cutting

About to be buying a 6.5" barrel that I'm wanting cut down to 6" anyone know a gunsmith that can do that?

I wouldn't spend the money to shave half an inch.

I've got a specific rifle I'm trying to put together so I'm just doing research on how to get it at the moment. I may have to get a7.5 barrel anyways.

any one with a lathe and more then five mins of use can do the job.......would take me all of 15 mins to "dial the job in
" using the 4 jaw cuck and cuck it and recrown it......brownells sells a recrown tool,you could cut it with a hawk saw and recrown it your self if you wanted to
