Do you ever supply a firearm and ammunition to students who do not yet have one?

I can arrange for the loan of M & P, Glock 17, and a Para Ordinance all in 9mm, I can also provide a .45 caliber 1911. The student will have to provide their own factory ammunition.

This class is jammed full of information, and plenty of range time compared to many other introductory classes.

How much ammo required for this class? Did I miss it in the posting?

A shooter should bring 150 rounds of ammo. Usually there are between 100-125 rounds fired. round count varies per shooter somewhat. Was not in OP I have added it.

This class is about safe gun handling and an introduction to fundamentals. Here is some video from this past weekend.

I will let my ability to shoot fast and accurately be my certification, and the 20 years of teaching experience speak to my ability to transfer my knowledge to the new or novice shooter.

Still have room. Enough live fire included in this class to established a base on which you can build a solid foundation.

One of the things that makes this class so good is that the new shooter fires enough rounds under supervision that good gun handling habits and good marksmanship habits are molded. My goal is the new shooter after this class can go to the range on their own and be safe and can hit the target consistently. Firing 20-30 rounds is not enough to create a solid base going forward.

Is this the NRA basic pistol class?

    No.

This class will teach you how to safely own, handle, and shoot a handgun. It will teach you the fundamentals of marksmanship. It will teach you how to conduct yourself safely on the range. You will fire a significant number of rounds and become a better shooter, which is not true of many implementations of NRA Basic Pistol.

In my opinion, it's a significantly better option for nearly any inexperienced shooter than NRA Basic Pistol. You will actually learn how to shoot better.

Rhino said a mouthful there in a small paragraph. This class is of a shorter duration, less expensive and with more range time. A new or novice shooter or one with very little experience will be very pleased at the end of the session.

A mouthful from Rhino often leaves one pleased at the end of the session.
