Recently picked up a 10 pack of on-sale surefire cr123a batteries online and they were sent to me in a ziploc style bag that I just tossed into my patrol duty bag. Are they going to be okay just loosely floating around in the bag or should I seek an alternate storage method?

Thanks AF Gunner....more stuff to buy!

Those are pretty cool though. Never hurts to have somthing to hold spares, especially considering in my case I have 3 differnt bags for different purposes that I carry batteries in. And they will take up less space than my Surefire spares carrier. No need for an extra bulb with LEDs.

The problem with keeping them loose is that the contacts of the batteries can tough one another... Can cause heat, and battery drain. So some type of holder (we stock the Surefire spares carrier) is nice. But you can always tape them together so the contacts dont touch.
