It's been a while since I posted anything. Guess I didn't feel I had anything good to say. While in Anderson this evening, helping my wife with her car, I spotted a guy that was open carrying. I'm good with that, in fact, I think more people should. However, and I may be wrong, I think that dressing like a thug, and open carrying kind of gives people the wrong idea. I'm not saying that the fellow doesn't have the right to protect himself, but keep it a little more classy.

Agreed, to a point. I recognize the rtkba as an absolute right, but reality also tells me that we're in a dogfight with the antis, and that perceptions rule the day. I try to appear to be at least a respectable average citizen on those few occasions when I do oc.

Its people like this that gives most of the OC comunity a bad name. Perception is a big part of our society, it just takes one or two to spoil it for everyone! IMO
