I'm considering getting a belly band holster or something like it to wear mid-torso under dress shirts either under the arm or something like that for deep concealment situations. I have an M&P Shield that I would carry like this. Anyone done this who could speak to how concealable it is or if it prints very much under the arms? I usually carry IWB with Henry Holsters gear or OWB Safariland, but I want an option that doesn't have anything sticking over a belt and is easily concealable and will not print under a dress shirt! Thanks.

Thanks. I know this is not the fastest method and it's not how I would carry most of the time. But I would like something that is deep concealment when I really don't want any chance of exposure. I like the strap idea. I was mainly asking because I saw that Daltech Force has a belly band holster for $23, which is nice on my tight budget. But I don't like that it doesn't have straps.

I'd steer you towards something like this: TRUSS® Holster Belly Band ? Tactical Retention Undercover Suspension System | SpecGear LLC

IF you wear a tie with the dress shirt, consider leaving one of the buttons undone. OR having magnetic snaps/buttons installed where the traditional buttons would be to facilitate getting your hand in and gun out quickly enough.

Under a shirt won't be quick or easy. If you go this route, please practice!

I have a "strapless" belly band or two also.

Just depends on the situation; like what you want to carry (i.e. size and weight) and where (i.e. higher or lower).
