Dr. Carson is bright and articulate, and a real conservative, as well as a self-made successful man. I always enjoy hearing him speak.He makes a lot of sense, and has a great sense of humor. And he cannot be called a racist. They will attack him and call him a lot of other things, but he shows no signs of backing down or getting his feathers ruffled. It will be interesting in seeing how his foray into public life after retiring as head of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins. If you missed his speech at the National Prayer Breakfast earlier this year, it is worth a watch. He completely trashed Obama and the godless socialist agenda without ever mentioning any names. Brilliant.

I like Dr. Carson as well. Have you heard his thoughts on the 2A though? Right after he hit the spot light with the above address, I saw him being interviewed somewhere and he was asked his views on guns. His comments would not be appreciated by most on this forum.

As I remember it, his comments were the sort that you'd hear from somebody that's been indoctrinated by the restrictive gun culture; somebody that doesn't hate them per se, but is OK with background checks, various limitations, etc. It seemed to me he just hadn't thought it out very well and was parroting the "I'm for the 2A but I'm for common sense measures" line. I hope he's educated himself since then and is on-board now.

Both repealed, as Obamacare should be. And you forgot Dred Scott. Still I do not believe any of these are as egregious as allowing a person to OWN another person, as Obabacare allows the government to own the health (and by extrapolation) the bodies and lives of its citizens.
