Just thought I would share my uniquely customized Benchmade 950 Rift. This knife, my Emerson CQB 7, and Spyderco Delica are the only three knives that I routinely carry. Ever since I laid eyes on the DPX Gear HEST 2.0 I couldn't get it out of my mind how handy it would be to have a bottle opener notch on the blade. So last night, with a friend's milling machine, a carbide bit, and a few measurements I decided to put this obsession to rest. So far, I'm liking it but I've got a lot of further testing to do. I'm going to start my extensive research on a few bottles of Bell's HopSlam.

Solution to a non-existent problem. You can open a beer bottle a lot of ways without an opener. Use a dollar bill, another bottle, a stone, a shoe. Check youtube.com. You can also learn how to open a can without an opener.
