From April through November I put on a 22lr benchrest steel match and total round count for the match is 40 Plus sight in for scope dope. The match format is there are 5 shooting benches each bench has a row of steel targets are set at 50, 100, 150 and 200 yds. At each distance are 2 targets the size of the targets is 2 & 3 moa. The 2 moa targets are pro and the 3 moa are amateur. At the beginning of the match each bench has a shooter At each of the distances 10 minutes is given for scope. Each target is engaged with 10 shoots in 2 minutes and scores are recorded. The max round count in the magazine is 10 rounds. The match begins with load your magazine and raise your hand when ready. Once everyone raises their hand the command if ready load. At this command the loaded magazine is inserted into your rifle and a round is chambered. The next command is start at this command 10 minutes is given for getting your scope dope. At the end of 10 minutes the command stop is given the command after stop is make ready when ready raise your hand. At this command you will load your magazine and raise your hand when your ready. Once everyone is ready the command load is given then start and you have 2 minutes to engage your declared target with ten shots. The sequence of events occurs for the next set of targets 100 yds then 150 yds then 200 yds. At the match sign in you declare either amateur or pro this determines the target size you shoot at.
