Best autoloader I ever owned. Sold it a few years ago to pay some bills, and been kicking myself every day since.

X2!!!! :xmad: I've regretted getting rid of mine too! I've been looking to trade into one but they just don't show up that often. Very nice shotguns. :twocents:

fast is an understatement. On a 100 yrd range you can loose the 7th slug into the air before the first round has struck the target...

I wished that my department would allow Benelli Semi Autos. I use my M2 for duck hunting and love it. And like was mentioned above it is a extremely fast auto in terms of cyclic rate. Compared to a Remington 870 it is lightning.

    No... No you can't. :n00b:

At a paltry 1800fps, it takes about .17 second for 1 round to travel 100 yards.

Pulling the trigger 7 times before .17 seconds has elapsed is physically impossible for a human to do.

Even fully automatic shotguns have a cyclic rate of about 6 rds per second.

Yes, it would take only .17 seconds @ 1800 fps if the slug had a flat trajectory and traveled at a constant rate of speed. I don't currently have access to my dope book, but a Foster Type rifled slug leaves an 18.5" barrel at under 1,400 fps and if I remember correctly is traveling at less than 1,000 fps @ 100 yrds. I believe the holdover on my Benelli @ 100 yrds is about 1' at that 100 yrds, maybe a little less.

I watched both Jerry Miculek and Jimmy Clark do this trick a few years ago at their Clark Range in Princeton.

I love mine. They are different, so be sure to become familiar with it. The ability to change ammo types without going through the mag and to 'ghost load' them makes them makes them stand out from everything else.

Nice shotgun tho the cyclic rate is a bit slower than my Benelli 121M ;) . I fanything ever happens to my 121 the Super 90 would be what I would want for a replacement. I have owned several in the past...they are exceelent combat shotguns.

    My 121...

I suppose I should add to this Benelli lovefest:

The Urban ERT Sling with the CDM barrel clamp is THE BEST combo for all Benelli owners looking for a sling. Thanks TSG Tacticalshotgunner.com!
