So we're counting AR and AK pistols as "tec-9 style" too then? Ruger Charger? Broomhandle?

Seems akin to referring to all pistols with the mag within the grip as "Hi-Point style". It doesn't seem too off base to assume the OP was referring to tec-9 variants.

I don't make assumptions. I ask for clarification and then respond if a response is merited. As far as the weapons you listed, with the exception of the ar, yes they should be included. As the ar uses a buffer tube, spring and buffer it would not fall into tec-9 style

I have one from the mid 90's when they were popular. It has 25 and 32 round mags, a carrying case with strap, a heat shield ,and a screw in flash hider for coolness.
I used to shoot it, but it sits in the safe now, some people had jam issues, but I never did with FMJ. Zombie Apocalypse pistol for sure, or car gun for SHTF application. Someday my son will take it to an LGS, a banger will buy it and it ends up in the property room before being recycled into a microwave.

Boy I wish the old days of guns and ammo were back, but I wont fire anything anymore (learned with my Protec .25) that's out of business for fear of breaking it and not getting repair parts.
