    Was out shooting with a friend and noticed that his 1911 just knocks the heck out of his brass. I've attached some pictures to try and show the damage to the casing. Any thoughts?

    i wouldn't worry about it. if that is all it is doing to the brass and the gun runs, leave it. the reloading process will straighten out brass in much worse shape than that.
