I'm needing to adjust the sight on my 92FS but I don't want to shell out $100 bucks for the tool. Does anyone know of another way or anything else I can use to adjust it?

I have plastic rods that are used to move a sight along with a hammer.

Some guys use brass rods but the brass has to be cleaned off the sight afterward.

My way is crude but works for about any model. I put the slide in a drill press vise w/ a block of wood on each side and the sight hanging out the end. On one side (the direction I want the sight to go), I make sure the block extends to the sight so my clamp doesn't mar the finish. On the other I leave the sight exposed. I cut a 1/2" piece of brass rod, and I then use a c-clamp to drive the brass w/ moves the sight. Very easy to make very detailed adjustments.
