    At the Ranch.
For deer and hogs I'm shooting factory ammo as of right now. The Remington hog hammers with 130gr. Barnes bullets are very effective.

+1 for the Barnes. We use the solid copper black tips 110 gr. Tac-TX. A little pricey but DRT. In the end, you'll save $ by only using 1 or 2 rounds. :yesway:

Just a FYI, Speer recently shipped a run of 125gr TnT's. They were gone from most on-line sources in 1-2 days.

The Barnes 110 gn Vor-Tx is the premier round for social work in .300 blackout. Your typical bad guy is at least the size of a white tail so they should work well for deer. I wouldn't trust a sub-sonic to get a clean, humane kill. I've been considering taking my .300 AR pistol out next year, and if I do the Vor-Tx will be used.

I have read that I should zero at 50yds and that will shoot good from 0-125yds without calculating drop. But that wasn’t for the 150g projectile.... where can I find this info? Wanting to figure out where to zero this one.

...Although I enjoy shooting subsonic rounds out of my BLK it’s cheaper and more enjoyable to fire supersonics when you’re at a range and your buddy is firing his 5.56. So for a supersonic zero I have changed to a 25/150 yard – as illustrated by the red line above. This leaves me dead on at 25 yds, about 2″ high at both 50 and 100 yds, back on zero at 150 yds and 5″ low at 200 yds. That’s not too much to remember and even without doping shots hits will deviate by about 2″ or less at any range from 0-250 yds...
