An oldie but goodie - Invasion from Mars.

Young boy awakes in the middle of the night to see a saucer bury itself in the ground. He awakens his parents and of course they see nothing and send him back to bed. Soon people begin to go missing only to turn up oddly different. They've been pulled underground and have had a mind controlling device implanted into the base of their brain, and are plotting to grab the rest of the towns people.

Long story short the boy wakes up and realizes he was dreaming...just when he's about to go back to sleep the real saucer lands!
