I got the itch for a GREAT looking 1911. I would like to have a 1911 with the deepest, richest, high luster blue you can get.
Outside of dropping $6K on some crazy custom 1911, who has what I want?
I think this might be a race between Kimber and Colt, not sure......
    Opinions and/or pictures welcome.
    THANKS!

This is my preference... Gun Bluing Made Easy With Van's Instant Gun Blue!
With multiple application it becomes more akin to parkerizing. Generally, two to three coats is needed for a nice deep bluing. I have used this for over 20 years & never been disappointed with it. Other opinions will vary, I'm sure. Best of luck to you!:D
