Best Grip / Bipod for AR?

Any thoughts on quality grip bipod products for an AR15? Best to separate the two?

IMO, yes.

Putting them together nets you a flimsy bipod, and a bulky VFG.

Yeah they issued us those grip pods and we had a bunch of them break pretty quick (and they were the steel reinforced ones). Although you can usually find em online pretty cheap, buying them new is about as expensive as getting a good bipod and a MOE grip.
