As the title says, where the best place to buy magazines? Any tips, best places to look? Any brands to stay away from? I’ve got a shield plus, was always a revolver guy. Looking for advice. Thanks!

The issue you are running into is your choice of pistol. Maybe there are tons of extras of those mags around at stores, but they will never be like Glock mags. Not ragging on your pistol, just saying that is a fact.

I've bought some stuff from these folks. A little warning that it took them a while and needed prodding around a busy time....

I'd put an add in the WTB...

There probably isn't one best place to shop for mags, but I do check Greg Cote when looking.

You can use the gun.deals or wiliarms.com sites to find the best prices.

Here is a site I found on Williams:

I’ve never heard of this outfit. Prices on the mags I checked seemed pretty good.

As for brands I steer clear of pro mag and ets (I know guys who don’t have problems with ets but I’ve had problems!)

I prefer factory mags, mec gar or act brands
In fact mec gar makes ruger, sig sauer cz and others factory mags! (Since cz bought Colt, I’ll assume colts are made by mec gar)

I haven’t bought from Greg cote yet but I’ve heard good things and their prices look great! I have bought from gun mag warehouse the prices were good and the shipping was fast (might be because the warehouse is in ft Wayne).

I need to get off my butt and find some cz kadet mags before they dry up!

    Ditto....I always start here.

Grab-a-gun, GunMagWarehouse and PSA often have good prices and often don't....

....after that it is just a google-fest.

Can't go wrong with Greg Cote.

However, I usually search around to see if anyone has a sale going on. Over the years, I have sourced my mags from many different vendors. Check for Black Friday sales.

    Greg Cote.
Osage County Guns (mostly for Sig)
    Lanbosarmory

    And many others.

Back in the day Botach used to be my go to for Glock mags, along with a few other places.

Try local.. one of our local gun shops has a box of used mags, I've had a little luck finding mags for some of my guns there, baring that Grab a Gun, Classic Firearms.....you know, the usual suspects...
