Best selection as far as I know for high end 1911s would be Indiana Gun Club in Fishers (113th east of Olio Rd).
You did say best selection not best price.

I hate plugging them, but Elmore's in Greenwood also typically has a large selection of mid-to-high end 1911 pistols.

They're at SR 135 and Fry Road - right behind Mike's Car Wash.

While you're there, have some FroYo at Ella's. Good stuff and good people.

I'll be the third to point out Elmore's. I'm not a big fan of the place either, and their prices are on the high side (although they might negotiate) but they do have an entire case or two filled with 1911s.

Elmore's has a ton, but hands down Indiana Gun Club has more, there're selection is out of this world (think 5-7 cases full), everything from taurus all the way up to Night Hawk, and everything in between! Plus Philip the owner is a straight shooter, he is very fair with trade in pricing and his gun pricing. Oh ya they are a dealer for Wilson and Baer as well!

USDS has a very nice used Nighthawk T3 with diamondblack finish.

I'll put in a vote for Indiana Gun Club. They list inventory online, fairly up to date in my experience. Just make sure you're not going on a weekend of the 1500, most handguns will be with them at the show.
