Big Black Kitty

Did anybody see this pic taken off a trail cam in Kosiuscko county near Packerton?

Its a large black cat. The article says that Indiana biologist are reviewing the picture to determine what the black cat might be. Some one said they thought it might be a barn cat. Looks like a big ole black panther kitty to me. timesuniononline.com

If those are soybeans in the background then I imagine its barn cat.... hard to say without better scale

My vote is a Maine Coon cat. They're huge! I've only seen one and they could be mistaken for a small wildcat of some kind. Panther's and the like that I've seen are usually much larger.

BTW, I'm not a biologist or animal specialist, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express a week ago.

Look to be soybeans in the background. I'd have a hard time believing that is anything other than a fat barn cat.

My vote is for big ol' barn cat in a soybean field too. If we could see the eyes and face that would help.

Black barn cat. There are lots of beans that aren't going to make it to knee high this year and those beans in this pic aren't either.

I am fairly sure they rounded up the wild cats that were released in that area a few years back. I think my Siamese could take this one lol.

hard to tell how big it really is from the picture.. but who knows, remember when there was a cougar or panther (can't remember what it was) on the loose in chicago not too long ago

Come on now!! That's just a hefty Pit Bull! lol I will have to find the pic in my files of the BIG black cat I captured on my trail cam and post the pics! It was pretty intense to actually see that big thing on my trail cam, especially when im getting to my stand an hour and a half before sunrise!
